Liberty Harbor Gets Patriotic

Liberty Harbor North, the massive planned community in Jersey City is rapidly moving towards opening the first phase of the project. That means its time for detail work like decorative features. Apparently someone in the design department went star crazy:

Hamilton Square

McWilliams Place along the east side of Hamilton Park will be closed while construction on Hamilton Square continues. When the project is finished, the head on parking along the park will be removed, extending Hamilton Park east by a few feet and turning McWilliams into a one way street.

The Sutton at Liberty Harbor

The Sutton is one of several larger buildings being constructed during the first phase of the Liberty Harbor North development. The building sits on the newly created Liberty View Terrace, which is essentially an extension of Barrow Street. Looking east from the Jersey Avenue light rail station provides a good view of the front of the building.

The Sutton is a larger building in the Liberty Harbor North development in Jersey City. Liberty Harbor is a planned, new urbanist community that mixes rental apartments with condominiums as well as offices and retail space

The Lofts at Liberty Harbor

The Lofts at Liberty Harbor are one of several larger buildings being constructed during the first phase of the complex. The Lofts are bordered by the light rail line. Interior framing seems to have begun on the lower floors of the building.

Jersey City Westin Tower

The newest hotel set to open in Jersey City is the Westin part of the Newport development along Washington Blvd. The Tower is rising along Sixth Street between the Newport mall and Washington Blvd.

The Jersey City Westin is a new hotel tower in the Newport section of Jersey City

The tower most slender section is the Washington Blvd facade; eventually the Westin will be covered in shiny reflective glass.

Trump Towers

The Jersey City Trump Tower is quickly coming together now that the first windows were installed last week:

Site: Harborside Plaza 4

Harborside Plaza 4 seems to be moving forward again as the office market market in downtown Jersey City constricts and prices begin creeping up. The building will have more than a million square feet of office space, 600 new parking spaces and ground level retail.

Gulls Cove: Windows

Windows have started being installed on Gulls Cove inside the "C" shape of the tower:

Liberty Harbor North

Liberty Harbor North in Jersey City, New Jersey, is a new urbanist community being built adjacent to the historic downtown and within sight of lower Manhattan
