77 Hudson Street

At 500 feet or so, 77 Hudson street will soon be one of the tallest buildings in New Jersey, just a block away from 30 Hudson Street, the Goldman Sachs tower and Jersey's tallest. 77 Hudson was previously planned as an office tower not more than 30 or so stories. That plan was scrapped with the softening of the Jersey City office space market and the rise of apartment sale prices and rentals. While the project hasn't yet risen above street level, there are pilings in the ground as seen in this photo from the southwest corner:
