Shore Club Suffers As NuVisions Hooks Up Communications Services

NuVision, the communication company contracted to provide services in Newport, announced Shore's 216 South Tower residents can look forward to poor customer service and sporadic outages. Newport's other 4,660 apartments already have NuVision service.

I've been living in one of the Newport highrises for over a year now, and the internet provided by NuVisions is awful. Even during the day, when people are at work, internet and download speeds are horrible. Months ago residents got flyers saying that service was going to improve, but it hasn't. If NuVisions can't provide adequate service for what residents pay a premium for, then maybe Newport should allow Verizon, Comcast, Time Warner, or some other company to come in and provide residents with decent service. Talk about a monopoly.
