More Renderings of Bates Project

The Bates Project, a 12 story tower planned for a site just west of the Heritage Plaza in downtown Jersey City still has not broken ground. However, some crafty internet sleuthing has revealed several more images from the architectural firm responsible for the building. One Bates Street, as Emporis lists the building, will be infusing some serious redevelopment into an area dominated by the Pathmark shopping plaza. The Bates Project is will require razing of some older, low rise structures on the site.

I believe this is to be at Bates and Colden Street; Colden is parallel to Grand Street, one block north, Bates intersects Grand Street just past the McDonalds. Essentially it is across the street from the Pathmark parking lot. There is another 12 story building planned for Newark Avenue just below the turnpike; this structure was under construction last year when it was a 6 story building, but since the developer received approvals to go higher, nothing has been happening at that site. There are also no renderings of the Newark Avenue building that I have seen.
