Preservation, Skyscrapers and You

John Lumea gets down and dirty with preservation proposals, conservation, architecture and the future of urbanism in his essay NIMBYopolis. Few essays can sharply criticize pervasive contemporary views on architecture, conservation and zoning while coherently comparing a rural town in Kentucky with the Lower East Side and all the while citing Jane Jacobs and referencing Greek Goddesses.
