Finally, Our Algebra Teacher Proven Right
Kudos to our 9nth grade math teacher; we finally used that algebra stuff she was talking about. The NYTimes is bragging about New York's decrease in violent crime, and the reduction of the citywide murders. Jersey City went down too, from 24 murders in 2003 to a mere 23. Unless our math was wrong, we're dissappointed to learn New Yorkers are safer then we are:
New York: 7 murders per 100,000
Jersey City 9.5 murders per 100,000
Of course, maybe we didn't do the math right, since we were never very good at it. In either case, we contend all that crime happens in those dark corners of the city we don't even talk about here.

The word "disappointed" only has one letter s. Just like the word "spellcheck."
I just found out about this blog. Just so you know, JC and Hoboken are two totally distinct towns and the residents of each do not appreciate the marginalization of either. So while your new URL sounds cool and all, it's not necessarily accurate.
I absolutely, positively could not agree more with DoJo Girl.
Oh, and please don't condemn a good 70% of the city to the "dark corners" or you'll sound like some ignorant newbie...
